MADISON COUNTY FUR FARMS
Agriculture has formed the economic backbone of Madison County over the
years. One aspect which people are not readily familiar with are the fur farms
which existed in Madison County in the 1930's and 40's. The Madison County
Museum has an extensive exhibit of pictures and memorabilia documenting this
portion of Madison County history.
